If you need a day license you will now be directed to the British Triathlon website to buy one. This is because they need you name and address for the day license. \n\n\n\nEnter 2024 \n\n\n\nWe are pleased to say that there is no price increase at the moment. Sorry but this may change after Christmas. We try our hardest to keep our entry fees the lowest in the UK\, but every part of our race is going up in price. \n\n\n\nSo whatever happens\, we will still be the best Value full and half-distance race in the UK. \n\n\n\nTo keep the price of the race so low we need almost to fill the race to cover the cost of running the event. If you can help us promote the race in any way that would be great \n\n\n\nWhen I came up with this crazy idea 12 years ago I never thought we would make it to our 12th Year. It not been easy but its been fun and I have had the opportunity to meet some great people over this time. \n\n\n\nAll races will start at 6.00 pm and most competitors should be finished before the swimmers are out of the lake for the Midnight Man. \n\n\n\nWe now also have real toilets and showers on site. \n\n\n\nWe also have a tea wagon all night as well. \n\n\n\nTo enter any click below. \n\n\n\nEnter online 2024 \n\n\n\nClick here to go on our mail out list for updates and special discounts on races. I would sooner everyone wear one but we can’t make you. If it goes over 22 degrees for the sprint and Standard.\n\n\n\nFor the half and and full if it goes over 24.6 degrees it becomes a no wet suit swim.\n\n\n\nWe do also now a tea wagon coming along. Not sure how long they will stay for as its a long night.\n\n\n\n\nRemember to bring the following to make the race easer for you\n\n\n\n1  Lights on your bike for the Full and half. \n\n\n\n2  Speedo so you can keep an eye on how far you cycled. There will be a lap counter on the  bike and run \n\n\n\n3 There will be a large TV screen by the finish area so you can double check if you lose count. \n\n\n\n4  You will be given a Aid bag at registration to put anything you need during the bike or run. This will by the feed station in number order. It gets very cold at night as we are close to 2 lakes and the river. \n\n\n\n5 We will be giving out HIGH5 on the bike in 750m water bottles and water. \n\n\n\nThe cut-off times are as follows for the full distance.\n\n\n\n\nSwim 8.15pm (2.15)\, Bike 4.30am ( 10.30 hours)\, Finish 11am (17.00)\n\n\n\nThere are no real cut-off times for the other distances as we are there all night.

Pass the famous and near-perfect Beaumaris Castle\, then head up towards Llanfaes and complete a small loop before returning the way you came\, taking in the breathtaking views of Eryri\, to finish in Menai Bridge. This partially closed road course is a stunning showcase of some of North Wales’s most beautiful scenery. \n\n\n\n\n10K\n\n\n\n\nThe race starts by flowing downhill through Menai Bridge town centre and along the winding closed road that leads to Beaumaris\, where you find your turn-around point. The route is a closed-road out-and-back course flanked by breathtaking views of the Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Straits.

There are a number of cost-effective ticket options for both runners and spectators. The Event Village\, Toilets\, Start Line\, and Finish Line are a short walk from the following recommended tram stops: Old Trafford (1 min walk)\, Trafford Bar (10 min walk)\, Wharfside & Exchange Quay (both approx a 15 min walk). These tram stations have designated routecrossing points which allow safe access across the run route. Do not use the Pomona tram station\, as you cannot cross the run route. \n\n\n\nPark & Ride: There are over 100 park-and-ride locations in Greater Manchester. It’s easy to park up and hop on the tram for a hassle-free journey to the event. An event aimed at runners of all levels\, the route is flat as it loops around the lake\, making it the perfect Half for PB chasers and first-timers alike. Once you complete the run\, you will receive your unique finishers medal\, water and cereal bar. \n\nRace Start / Finish\n\n\nThe Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last-minute issues. The race village is just 8 minutes on the shuttle bus from the event car park (SY22 5JB). SUMMARY:Bell Rock Adventure Swim
DESCRIPTION:Open Water Swim Adventure Event organised by Pete Wilby Triathlon. \nThe BELL ROCK SWIM ADVENTURE is a fantastic season opener. A real rugged bit of coastline and a visit to the places you simply can’t get to without a boat. The beauty of this short 2km adventure is that you are in the water with some amazing sights. You will be swimming with seals and small fish and will likely see shrimps\, lobsters and shellfish along the bottom. \nThe route begins at Maidencombe beach (a pay and display carpark is at the top of the cliffs. There is a five-minute walk down the steps to the beach). You will meet the team on the beach where we will stow on the boat’s your small essentials such as flip flops a warm top and drinks. Before getting in we will provide a short safety briefing and route plan. \nThe swim heads out and around the rocky outcrops\, staying close to the shore and picking up a heading on Bell Rock (named for its shape). You will find a small channel around the back of the rock\, just wide enough to swim through. The route goes past Watcombe beach and then we get the chance to peer into Watcombe caves. The epic SWIM ADVENTURE finishes at Oddicombe beach\, which can be easily recognised for its Victorian style and venicular railway going up the cliff. \nAfter arriving at Oddicombe\, all swimmers will be offered a warm drink before we take the boats back to Maidencombe where the adventure began. \n
