The finish is in front of „Moskva“ Hotel. \nCategories: \nOpen division (men – women) \nThe competition is held in compliance with the rules of the Athletic Federation of Serbia and the IAAF. \nRunners Info \n– Runners arrive to the PRE-START ZONE – Nikola Pašić Square – from 08:30 and not later than 09:30. \n– Runners change in the appropriate tent\, and give their clothes to volunteers in WARDROBE AREA. Volunteers place clothes in bags which are marked with start numbers of runner and put them away. The clothes will wait for runners in the tent after the end of the race. Runners will pick up their clothes according to their race number. In the pre-start zone runners can use medical aid and toilet facilities. \n– Every participant must have the race number under which he or she is registered – otherwise he or she will be disqualified. Race number must be placed on chest area. \n– Every runner (marathon or half marathon) must be in the START AREA by 9:45 latest. When taking start position\, the elite runners stand just behind the start line\, while the others must stand behind the “human wall“. \n– Runners at the start area must follow instructions of the official announcer and referees. Runners whose conduct disturbs the schedule and general order will be removed and disqualified. \n– At 10:00 a siren will mark the start of the race. \n– Each participant in the marathon race must pass the check points on the course. If a participant is not registered at check points for whatever reason he or she loses the official finishing place and time. \n– All marathon participants must enter the second lap in New Belgrade (the junction of Mihajlo Pupin and Nikola Tesla Boulevards) by 12:45. Otherwise they will be forbidden to continue further. \n– Time limit for the marathon race is 6 hours. \n– Runners who are unable to finish the race may approach the nearest medical unit or refreshment point staff along the course and wait for the transport to the PRE-START ZONE or (if necessary) to a medical institution. \n– At the entrance of the finish zone (about 400 m before the finish line) the separation of half marathon and marathon runners begins. Marathon runners run on the left hand side of the street and enter the gate on the left side\, while half marathon runners run on the right hand side of the street and enter the gate on the right side. \n– Both\, marathon and half marathon runners who finish the race\, will get the medals. Exiting the barrier zone\, all competitors will have refreshments\, medical aid and toilet facilities at their disposal. \n– If a runner wishes to submit the protest concerning the regularity of the race\, he or she will approach the main referee at the finish line\, make a payment of 1.000\,00 rsd (for foreign runners EUR 50) and fill out a specified form. Money is not refundable in cases in which the Jury of Appeals rules that the protest is unfounded. DESCRIPTION:Vienna City Marathon 2018\nMore than 42\,000 runners from 130 nations will be taking part in the Vienna City Marathon\, cheered on by hundreds of thousands of spectators. \nThe Vienna City Marathon takes you to Vienna’s most impressive modern and historic sights. It starts between the skyscrapers of the UNO complex\, the site of the United Nations. Straight after the start\, participants cross the 864 metre long Imperial Bridge (Reichsbrücke) over the River Danube\, accompanied by the world famous melody of the Danube Waltz by Johann Strauß.  \nThe race takes you past the Riesenrad or giant ferris wheel\, through the green expanse of Prater Park. Following Viale Nereo Rocco\, it continues on Viale Gino Cappello\, Viale del Calcio and Via Due Palazzi. Through Via Due Palazzi\, the race course approached the neighbours of 4 Montà\, Ponterotto before entering the SP55 towards Rubano. After the roundabout of Villaguattera\, it continues on Via Mazzini and gets to the intersection with SR11 for about 850 mt. Through Via Ceresina\, it touches Selvazzano Dentro and runs along Via Pelosa (an ancient Roman main-road) until it gets to SP82. Past the bridge on the Bacchiglione river\, it goes through the city centre of Selvazzano Dentro and through Via Scapacchiò it runs next to the Golf Club “La Montecchia”. \nAt the 20 km mark\, it enters the municipality of Teolo and continues on Via dei Colli prior to getting to the intersection with Via Abbazia di Praglia\, from where it continues on the SP60 towards Monteortone. This is where the Marathon and the Half-Marathon converge. The race course continues towards the centre of Abano Terme through Via Cornelio Augure\, Via Abano\, Viale Terme\, Piazza della Repubblica\, Viale delle Terme\, Via Matteotti\, Via S. Pio X\, Viale Roveri\, Via S. Maria d’Abano\, Via Latisana and Via Romana Aponense. It then enters the municipality of Padua and continues on Via Romana Aponense\, la Mandria\, Via Armistizio\, Ponte Isonzo\, Via Isonzo\, Via Goito\, Piazzale Sacra Famiglia\, Via Cernaia\, Piazzale San Giovanni\, Via Euganea\, Ponte San Giovanni delle Navi\, Via Vescovado\, Via Vandelli\, Piazza Duomo\, Granguardia\, Piazza dei Signori\, Piazza della Frutta\, Via Oberdan\, Via VIII Febbraio\, Via San Francesco\, Via del Santo\, Piazza del Santo\, Via Luca Belludi and arrives at the finish line in Prato della Valle\, the second largest square in Europe.  \nHalf Marathon\nFrom its beginning the half marathon follows the same route as the marathon. The entrance in the city of Padua and its historical city centre has been designed so that the runners will get to see the most beautiful parts of the city: passing by Piazza dei Signori\, Piazza della Frutta\, Caffè Pedrocchi\, Palazzo del Bo and the Basilica of S. Antonio. The finish line is set in the extraordinary scenery of Prato della Valle\, Europe’ second biggest squares and certainly one of the most beautiful ones. \nThe race starts in Via Previtali in Abano Terme\, next to S. Daniele park. It then continues along Via Vittore Ghislandi\, Via Liberale da Verona\, Via dei Colli Euganei\, Via San Daniele\, Strada Provinciale 25d.
