DESCRIPTION:Krispy Kreme Joy Run by Larian Spektra 2018\nKrispy Kreme Joy Run by Larian Spektra returns for the 4th time\, to provide a truly fun running event… with doughnuts\, of course! \nThe event will start and finish at Dataran Dewan Tunku Canselor\, University of Malaya\, Kuala Lumpur ; unless announced otherwise by the organisers. The distance is 5km\, and this time there will be bubble stations too\, where the bubble machines will continuously produce colour foams! We still have the colour stations with volunteers who will douse you in coloured powders throughout the route. There will also be one water station at the 2.5km mark\, and another one at the finishing line. \nParticipants will have to complete the run within 2 hours of starting time at 7.00am\, in order to be eligible for finisher medal and goodie bag. This is a non-competitive event\, so there will be no prize for winners. Participants without the allocated bib number will not be allowed to take part in the race. Should the inclement weather persist after the delay\, The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the race without refund of registration fees.\nFor appeal over disputes\, prize winners or possible prize winners\, must be present and made on-site in person to the race official\, in a written format\, within 15 minutes from the prize presentation\, whichever is earlier. All appeal are subjected to a non-refundable RM100.00 appeal fee (if any).\nKolej Kediaman Tuanku Bahiyah\, UM reserves the right to replace any winners if he/she is found to be disqualified.\nParticipants who do not start within 30 minutes from their respective flag off point will be disqualified and for safety reasons\, may not be allowed to start.\nNo pets or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skate\, prams\, shoes with built-in or attached rollers is allowed on the course during the race except officials race and medical vehicles.\nWhile baggage deposit services are provided on the race day\, the organizer will not be held responsible for any loss and/or damage\, personal or otherwise\, to the belongings and items deposited. \nSAFETY\nWhile reasonable precautions will be taken by Kolej Kediaman Tuanku Bahiyah\, UM to ensure the safety of participants\, participants take part at their own risks and the Organizer\, their sponsor and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury\, loss or damage\, suffered or otherwise\, and how so ever arising.\nKolej Kediaman Tuanku Bahiyah\, UM reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the run to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.\nParticipants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.\nFor the safety of participants\, participants are advised to run on the designated route and observe traffic regulations.\nFor safety purpose\, runners are strongly recommended not to stand and playing at the bubble station as other runners are running behind you.\nRunners are recommended to bring your own glasses and mask to prevent being choked by the foam at the bubble stations.\nThe foam created by the foam machine will not cause any permanent damage to clothing or persons’ health subjected to it.\nIf you have sensitive skin and you feel a tingling reaction whilst in the foam area\, you should wash the affected areas immediately with cold water. The same applies if you suffer the same affects in your eyes.

SUMMARY:The Toronto Marathon 2018
DESCRIPTION:Toronto Marathon 2018\nThe Marathon course is fast\, downhill\, and scenic. Starting at Mel Lastman Square in North York and finishing at Ontario Place\, the Marathon winds through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods. This Toronto favourite is one of the fastest courses you will find anywhere and is a great qualifier for the Boston Marathon. \nSpecifics\n7:30 AM – START – On Beecroft Road behind Mel Lastman Square north of North York Blvd. \nMarathon participants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Walkers are not permitted in the Marathon. In-line skates\, roller-skates\, skateboards\, bicycles\, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants\, iPods and similar audio devices are not recommended. \nAll participants will receive a bib and technical shirt. Bibs must be worn on the front and visible at all times. Shirts and bibs must be picked up at the Expo. \nWe encourage all participants maintain a minimum 7.5-minute/km (12-minute/mile) pace. Participants running slower may be asked to move on to the sidewalk upon course closure and obey normal traffic laws. \nAid Stations & Timing\nAid stations supplying water\, Gatorade and toilets will be on course approximately every 2.5 km and Start and Finish Lines. DESCRIPTION:Trieste Running Festival – Half Marathon\nWith a course starting from the Karst highland\, 140 metres above sea level near the main square in Aurisina and finish line by the sea in Trieste\, the new “Trieste 21k” will be one of the fastest B-AISM international half marathons; a chance for all amateur and professional athletes to set their best ever time\, beating their PB. \nWith 23 editions\, besides being among the most longstanding Italian half marathons\, the Trieste Halfmarathon is surely the most scenic race in Europe\, confirming its course along the Coastal road\, the new stretch along the Belvedere view point at the Costa dei Barbari and finish line in Piazza Unità. \n  \n \n  \nFrom the Karst to the sea\, from Aurisina – birthplace of Luciano Gigliotti\, coach of Gelindo Bordin and Stefano Baldini – to the city centre in Piazza Unità d’Italia\, featuring a unique course in a unique landscape… but let’s go into detail: the start is in the main square of Aurisina that can be reached with the shuttles available from Trieste Central Station (this year there will also be a shuttle taking participants back to Aurisina – there will be a bag service too). \nAfter a flat 400-metre stretch along the Provincial Road n.1 runners will go down the steepest descent of the course consisting of 150 metres with 5% inclination and then another flat section\, about 1 kilometre long\, across the Aurisina Quarry zone; the course then leads to the railway bridge along the SP1\, after another (3%) downhill stretch\, about 3 km from the start\, the course reaches the highway junction towards the Belvedere of the Costa dei Barbari; from this scenic point you can spot the finish area far away with a unique breathtaking views of the sea; you can admire the city and the Slovenian coast\, the Friuli plane and the Dolomite mountains on the backdrop\, this is the most scenic section of the race with slight descents; after 7 kilometres the course passes under the Natural Tunnel\, then at km 10 there is the Tenda Rossa drink station\, and at km 12 the course leads to the Castle of Miramare along the last descent\, about 500 metres long with a 3/4 % inclination to be run naturally in order to avoid stiffness along the final flat section. \n \nPicture Credit – http://ilpiccolo.gelocal.it/trieste/foto-e-video/2017/05/07/fotogalleria/la-partenza-della-half-marathon-e-spunta-il-centurione-1.15301801 \nFrom the Bivio di Miramare there are still 7 km to the finish line but the half marathon runners will meet the Family participants (running along a parallel course) who will cheer them up and help them improve their performance. \nIn Roiano the course leads to the last straight stretch before the Station where the 20-km drink station will be available\, and then the last section along the waterfront will offer historical sights\, a central European atmosphere blending with Mediterranean charm and finally lead to Piazza Unità…and it will be a great running festival once again. \nItalian athletes who do not have a Fidal membership must show the Runcard Fidal or Asi\, foreign athletes without Iaaf membership can sign up paying a 5 euros insurance and no further additional costs. \nMIRAMAR EXPO \nThe Miramar Expo\, at the Savoia Excelsior Palace\, (Riva del Mandracchio\, 4\, 34124 Trieste)\, will open on 3 May. SUMMARY:Borneo International Marathon 2018
DESCRIPTION:Borneo International Marathon 2018\nThe first marathon in Sabah was held in 1984 and it was called the Daily Express Sabah Marathon. The next marathon was held 23 years later in 2008 and it was called the Borneo International Marathon (BIM).  \nBIM was organized by Championship Sport Events Sdn. Bhd.\, helmed by Mr. Andrew Voon as the Race Director as well as the person instrumental in organizing the Borneo International Marathon. The first BIM had three categories\, 10km\, 21km and 42km and was participated by a mere 529 runners. \nOn June 18 2011 the running community was deeply shocked and saddened by Andrew’s sudden demise. To continue with his legacy and the event\, his running group successfully registered a running club called the Kinabalu Running Club (KRC)\, which has undertaken the task of organizing the next Borneo International Marathons.
