DESCRIPTION:3 Country Marathon 2018\nThe course is though three countries\nThe marathon starts from the beautiful Island of Lindau -habour\, then passes through the Austrian towns Lochau\, Bregenz\, Hard\, Höchst\, it then crosses the Swiss border at St. Margreten and continues across the Rheindamm back to Hard and finally finishes in Bregenz. \nA marathon to enjoy\n60% of the course takes place along Lake Constance. You pass the world’s largest open theatre\, with the stage design of the opera Turandot. Then passing through reeds and woods\, you finally finish in the Casino-Stadium in Bregenz\, where a cheering crowd awaits you. \nParticipant Information \nSPARKASSE 3 LÄNDER MARATHON \nOrganisation fees \nMarathon 42\,195 km \nOrganisation Fee: \nAll prices: \nUntil 31.12.2017    – 60\,- EURO\nUntil 31.03.2018    – 63\,- EURO\nUntil 30.06.2018    – 68\,- EURO\nUntil 31.08.2018    – 73\,-EURO\nLate registration   – 78\,- EURO \nIf a registered participant\, for any reason\, will no be able to take part\, there will be no claim for refunding the orgnisation fee. \nInculded in the organisation fee: \nRunners Trade fair\, Heathcare Symposium\, Pasta Party at the Inselhalle in Lindau\, High tech Timing Mika Champion Chip\, Cloth transport\, official 3 country marathon medal\, Ferry from Bregenz to the Start in Lindau\, Coordinated catering for runners along the track and after the finish line\, Massage service after finish line\, free entry to the indoor pool (only ladies)\, free transfer with train and bus within Vorarlberg Verkehrverbund on race day. \nApplication deadline \nSeptember 25 th 2018\, 12pm – Applications reveived after this date will be handled as late registration.\nOnline registration closes on September 25 th 2018\, 12pm. \nLate registration will be possible\, but only at the weekend of the marathon: \nFriday\, 5.10. from 2pm-7 pm\nSaturday\, 6.10. from 9am – 7pm and\nSunday\, 7.10. from 7am- 10am (at the late registration counter at the marathon trade fair “Inselhalle Lindau”\, Germany) \nThe rules \nAnyone can take part\, who has received a written entry confirmation and is physically fit. The full marathon is open to participants born in or before 1995 (18 years and above). The Sparkasse Marathon is organized in accordance with the regulations of the Austrian/German Athletic Associations (ÖLV&DLV) and the IAAF. Accompanying vehicles (automobiles\, Bicycles\, motorcycles) are prohibited on the course. Wheel chairs and all other rolling devices are not allowed. Pets and animals are also forbidden. The course surface is asphalted or graded. During some of the stages\, it will be necessary to run on the opposite side of the road\, please be vigilant. Be aware of fellow runners and keep a necessary distance\,especially when passing. \nTime measurement \nTime is measured exclusively with Mika timing and the champion chip. With your registration you can choose between your own champion chip (add details when making registration)\, buy your own personel champion chip for 28\,00 EURO or rent a chip for 3\,00 EURO for the race. \nRented chips must be returned in the finish area after the race\, not returned chips will be charged to the participant with a amount of 25\,00 EURO. \nNo time measurement without “Champion Chip”. \nFair-play-Initiative of austrian running event organizer \nAustrian running event organizer and the national anti doping agency are cooperating in prevetation\, information and educational advertising in all area of doping and medication abuse. Doping controls will be held individually through “intelligent testing”. Join the fay-play-initiatve and say no to doping. Doping is a health risk. \nStart \nMarathon\nOctober 7 th 2018 at 10:30 am\nStarting line harbour of Island Lindau (GER) \nAll runners start at 10.30 am in Lindau(GER) harbour. Due to limited parking for cars and buses available at the start area in Lindau\, it is recommended that all runners should arrive in Bregenz. Here you will find plenty of parking. For your information\, we have placed a map of Lindau(GER) and Bregenz in your starter pack. \nThere will be continuous train and ferry transfers from 8am-9.30am for all runners free of charge from Bregenz harbour directly to Island Lindau harbour (GER). Last train tranfer from Bregenz harbour to Island Lindau harbour at 10.20am. The transfer takes approximately 20 min ferry and 10 min train (please check the timetable attached to the document). \nStarter package \nthe starter package (race number incl. bib\, info\,..) is handed out only on Friday October 5 th from 2pm until 7pm\, on Saturday October 6 th from 9am until 7pm and Sunday October 7 th from 7am until 10 am at the “Inselhalle” in Lindau. The starter package will not be sent by mail. Late registration is possible on Sunday. \nChange-room facility \nPlease use the changing and toilet facilities\, which are clearly marked\, at the starting area.  \nPlease take your change of clothing to the lorry marked with your race number\, which are stationed on the “Reichsplatzt” (see start plan). Please use carry bag you received with your starting package displaying your race number for change of clothing (only this bag will be accepted). Do not place any valuables or breakables in the bag\, as the organizers will not be held responsible for loss or damage. The change of clothing will be transported to finish point in the Casino stadium in Bregenz. \nImportant: Be sure to hand in your change of clothing bag by 10.20am as the departure is at 10.45am. No late bags can be transported after this time\, because the roads are blockaded. \nStarting list \nThere will be various starting blocks at the starting line depending on your best time previous run. The number of your starting block is on your running number. You should be at your starting block by 10:30. There will be personal to advice you. \nWarm up \nOn the Stage close to the staring line\, you will be entertained from 9am by our radio Vorarlberg DJ. Don’t miss this exciting warm up opportunity! \nFinish line \nCasino Stadium in Bregenz – finish line \nFinish line closes at 5 pm October 7 th 2018 \nOnce you have crossed the finish line (Timingmat) your time will be automatically registered.Please keep the finishing line clear and proceed directly to the marked area. \nHere you will receive your medal\, refreshments and first aid assistance. \nResults \nThe list of results will be displayed at the Info Point\, in the Casino stadium. Results can also be seen on this official internet site and you can download the certificate and see all the results on http://www.mika-timing.com \nThe winner ceremony of the top three runners of each race be held in the stadium\, as from 1pm onwards.There will be entertainment\, food and beverages around the stadium. \nClassifications \nMen (M) and women (W) are classified separate according to the age: \nTeenagers U20 (M/W) \nJunior U23 (M/W) \nMain classification (HM/HW) \nSenior (M/W) \nShowers \nThe change of clothing bag can be collected from the lorry displing your race number at parking 5-Stadionstrasse. The bag can only be collected with your race number\, by latest 6pm. Any unclaimed bags can be collected at the info point (Casino Stadium) until 7pm. \nThe clearly marked (see map) showering and changing facilities are at the indoor pool (Hallenbad) for women and at the outdoor pool (showertent) for men. \nSelf-refreshment \nShould you have special requirements for drinks and snacks during the marathon it is possible for the organizers to place these at the refreshment points 10\, 15\, 20\, 25\, 30\, 35. Please hand in these items (no glas!) with your name\, race number and refreshment point number where you want it to be delivered on Friday and Saturday in the Inselhalle in Lindau\, when collecting your starters pack. \nDepending on the number of these requests there could be delays finding your items at the refreshment point. \nNote that only one sponge is given at the start and this must kept for the entire marathon. \nRunners refreshment \nYou will be taken care of before\, during and after the marathon. At the finish line you will find refreshments at the “Sutterlüty” care center. \ndownload: Refreshment-points as PDF (18KB) \nShip transfer \nOn Sunday\, all runners can use the fleet of the “Vorarlberg Lines” for transfer from Bregenz habour to Lindau harbour free of charge. Spectators can get a return ticket for 7\,00 Euro. \nTime-tabel: from Bregenz habour  8.10am\, 8.25am\, 9.20am\, 9.35am. \nmportant:runners must be at the starting line latest by 10.45am. \nHealth service \nAt the back of your race number\, you will find your “first aid form”. Please fill in your personal details with a pen. Participants from abroad must fill in their residential address (hotel)\, room number and telephone number. \nThere will be medical assistance at the starting line\, throughout the marathon rout and at the finish line\, casino stadium Bregenz. \nMedical assistance \nShould you require medical assistance try to reach next first aid point\, where you will receive the necessary care. Should you withdrawal during the marathon there will be busses to transfer you to the stadium in Bregenz free of charge \nInt. Emergency-valuation \nAdditional Emergency-valuation for all catergories only for members of emergency agencies. \nTerms and condition \nNeither the organiser nor its representatives and other authorised persons can be held responsible for any form of damage or injury incurred as a result of participation in the marathon and accompanying events\, except in the case of the above persons having caused these intentionally or as a result of grave negligence. This also applies to sponsors and the owners of private paths and their representatives. This exemption from liability also applies to accompanying persons. \nEntrants declare that they are in a fit state of health\, have trained to a sufficient standard to partake\, and are in possession of a doctor’s certificate of health. Participation in this event is at the entrants’ own risk. \nEntrants agree to data(as given) on the registration form\, any photographs (including photo’s taken personally)\, film material and radio and TV interviews that are made in conjunction with the Sparkasse-Marathon\, including those in advertising\, books\, photographic reproductions and Inter-net inserts\, can be passed on and used without any claim for remuneration by the entrant. \nUpon registration\, entrants confirm that all personal details are correct and the race number will not be given to another person. \nRunners will be disqualified: \nWhen the official race number is tampered with in any way\, specifically if any number or advertising logo is made illegible or unrecognisable. \nWhen runners make use of any sport equipment\, alter/enhance their performance by hitching onto cyclists\, inline skaters etc. \nIn accordance with Data protection laws\, the organiser\, in a secure environment\, digitally saves all personal data. \nThe law of Austria governs the agreement.
