That’s where the “move your 642 muscles” slogan comes from. \nGulf Bank 642 Marathon is made for every individual who wants to experience a run\, touring through the beautiful landmarks of Kuwait. From challenging athletes to beginners and even families.  \nThis event caters to everyone.  \nGulf Bank 642 Marathon is the first full road race to take place in Kuwait and three of the race categories have been accredited by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF Athletics). \nFollowing this rigorous assessment\, three categories (10 KM\, 21 KM\, and 42KM distances) of the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon have been AIMS certified. These races now appear in the international calendar of races. \nAs a social responsibility\, Gulf Bank 642 supports a cause each year to raise awareness and donations. Since 2016 Gulf Bank 642 Marathon has been supporting UNHCR. DESCRIPTION:Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon\nA new season for sport begins in Larnaka with the 2nd Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon\, that will take place on Sunday\, November 18th\, in the Municipality of Larnaka. \nThe Radisson Blu International Larnaka Marathon situated in the coastal city of Larnaka\, close to the International Airport of Larnaka\, on the beautiful Palm Beach Avenue (Foinikoudes)\, next to the salt lakes where flamingos take a breath during the fall is sure to excite every runner\, from the more experienced ones to the newcomers.  \nThe Radisson Blu International Larnaka Marathon offers a number of different races on race day\, as apart from the full marathon\, there are also a Half Marathon\, a 10k Race\, 5k City Race\, 5k Corporate Team Race and a 1k Family Race.\nAll the races offer a different experience for all ages and abilities.  \nThe 1st Radisson Blu International Larnaka Marathon was a complete success attended by more than 3\,000 runners of all ages\, from 25 different countries.  \nPRACTICALITIES\nAge Limit\n42km – 18 years | 21km – 17 years | 10km – 16 years | 5km – 16 years \nAid Stations\nWater supply stations: at the 5 km mark and every 2.5 km following this point and at the finish. SUMMARY:Cool Cambridge Sportive Cycling Event
DESCRIPTION:Cycling Event\nThe Challenge\nWe start the 100K route just outside the world-renowned city of Cambridge and head south into the open countryside of Cambridgeshire. We ride into Essex\, passing through the town of Saffron Walden and along an excellent section of the 2014 Tour de France route\, ending up in the picturesque village of Finchingfield. We head north\, stopping at Steeple Bumpstead for a well-earned snack or two! Now feeling re-energised\, we head into Suffolk and through the small town of Clare\, before heading north-west and back to the finish. The route has an elevation of nearly 2\,500ft and is constantly undulating over rolling hills. \nWe start the 50K route again just outside Cambridge and head south into the open countryside of Cambridgeshire. After a short while we head east towards the village of Withersfield. We then cross over the border into Suffolk and through the village of Great Bradley\, before heading north-west back to the finish. This route has an elevation of just over 1\,300ft and again is constantly undulating over rolling hills.  \nWhat’s Included\nFully signposted routes\nMedical support\nMechanical support\nFree food and water stops\nFree onsite parking\nFree onsite changing facilities with showers\nBroom wagon\nMedal for all finishers \nThe Background\nThe Cool Cambridge is the final Sportive of 2018 for Long Leg Tours and is a fantastic season closer. So\, whether you are a serious cyclist\, leisure cyclist or just looking to get into cycling\, come along and join in. \nAdditional Information\nOnline entry closes at 19:00 on Friday 17th November 2018 or before if the event is sold out.
