DESCRIPTION:Event dates \nRace 1 : 27th June\, Horowhenua- 10 am\nRace 2 : 25th July\, Wellington – 10 am\nRace 3 : 21st Aug\, Kapiti\, in the dark – 6.30 pm \nThe Dirt Duathlon Series is run by the Big Bang Adventure Charitable Trust\nWe were established in November 2010 and are registered with the Charities Commission. Our registration number is: CC45878. \nOur trust is comprised of 4 trustees who wanted to share their enthusiasm for the outdoors and who recognised a need in the community for adventure-based activities. Our aim is to allow access to the outdoors in a relatively controlled and safe environment. \nTogether we have a combined experience of over 60 years in the outdoor industry\, from managing an outdoor company in Scotland\, to owning one in New Zealand. We have extensive event management experience and have worked the white waters of Venezuela\, Colorado\, New Zealand\, Scotland and lead multi-pitch rock climbing & ice climbing. We have participated in and instructed kayaking\, windsurfing\, sailing\, open boating\, SUP’s\, bugging\, abseiling\, bridge swinging\, mountain biking\, hiking\, canyoning\, cliff jumping\, team building activities and any other activity that keeps us away from the office! \nWe welcome you to join us in our next adventure in the Dirt Duathlon adventure racing series. \nCheers \nCarrie\, Marty\, Pete and Si \nCheck out our other event the Big Bang Adventure Race\, a 6-9 hr adventure race in November each year.

SUMMARY:The Snowman Triathlon 2021
DESCRIPTION:Push your limits with one of the toughest physical challenges in the UK. Great for those looking for that little something extra\, the course takes athletes from the waters of Llyn Mymbyr to the summit of Moel Siabod. \n\nThe Snowman Triathlon & Duathlon routes\n\n\nThe races will start from the ground of the scenic Plas y Brenin\, The National Mountain Centre. \nCompetitors will complete the swim in the waters of Llyn Mymbyr in the shadows of the awe-inspiring Snowdon. From here\, competitors will complete a series of hill climbs over Snowdonia’s mountain passes as they tackle the bike section. DESCRIPTION:Race in the home to some of Team GB’s greatest Olympic achievements in this Triathlon event. Ideal for those new to triathlons and veterans of the sport alike\, come to soak in the great atmosphere or for that prized finisher’s medal. \n\nDorney Lake Triathlon routes\n\n\n\nThis mixed-distance event is set at the iconic Dorney Lake\, just outside of Windsor. The course runs right along the water’s edge and loops around the circumference of this iconic Olympic venue. \nGiven the completely flat nature of the course\, this is the perfect opportunity to smash your PB after a long summer of training.
