For team member entry\, entrants must be at least 16. \nTeam Entry\nIf you don’t want to enter this event as an individual\, you can enter as a team of up to eight people. Each team must appoint a captain responsible for all team communications.\nEach registered member of a team must complete at least one lap of the course. Only one team member can be on the course at any one time. \nNon-Runner Entry\nIf you wish to attend this event as a spectator and to camp\, then the appropriate ticket for you will be the ‘Non-Runner Camping Fee’\, costing £12.\nThe Final Lap\nTeams will complete their final lap if they start running it before midday. \nFood & Drink\nThere will be a range of catering services selling food and hot drinks from Friday night onwards. \nPrizes\nPrizes will be awarded to the first three male and female solo competitors\, first three mixed pairs\, small teams (up to 4 runners)\, medium teams (5 or 6 runners) or large teams (7 or 8 runners)\, as well as the first all-male and all-female performances in each team category.\nIf two teams in the same category complete the same number of laps\, the winner will be the team that completes the final lap first. \n    \nRace Organiser: 209Events \n

SUMMARY:Dirt Duathlon - NAVIGATE ON FOOT AND BIKE\, DAY AND NIGHT
DESCRIPTION:Dirt Duathlon is a series like no other! We are made up of 3 mini adventure races (approx. 3 – 4 hrs. depending on how fast you are!) between June and August. You and your team can enter 1\, 2 or all three events. You train over winter. Why not race over winter too? \nIn teams of 2\, 3 4\, you can enter 1\, 2 or all three events on foot and bike\, experiencing the Big Bang Dirt Duathlon in the day or by night! \nRaces 1 and 2 will allow you to explore your adventure racing skills during daylight hours and progress in difficulty. Race 3 will test these skills to the max – in the dark! \nWe like to spread the love\, so the events are held between the Wellington\, Kapiti and Horowhenua regions. \n​\nWe know that’s how you like to roll to keep things easy. The day events will start at 10 am to have a lie-in. The night event will begin at 7 pm.
