SUMMARY:Brynkinalt Running Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Brynkinalt Running Festival brings together an active community of people taking part in sporting events for reasons ranging from fitness\, competition\, charity\, health\, fun\, or to simply finish. The participants vary of all ages and all abilities of trail runners. \n\n\n\nThe festival offers runners the chance to run 5k (approx) and 10k (approx) in the amazing surroundings of the Brynkinalt Estate. We offer canicross on the Saturday and standard running on Sunday. \n\n\n\nRACE HQ START / FINISH\n\n\n\nThis will in front of the stunning Brynkinalt Hall/Brynkinalt\, Wrexham LL14 5NS. *Please note Brynkinalt Estate is on Private land\, under no circumstances will you be able to run the route at any other time. \n\n\n\nRACE DAY SCHEDULE\n\n\n\n\nSaturday 16th March5k Canicross 8:30am10k Canicross 8:45am \nSunday 17th March \n5k 9am\n10k 9:15am\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\n\n\n\nBrynkinalt Estate\, Chirk\, Trevor Road\, LL14 5HA \n\n\n\n(please arrive from the centre of Chirk on Trevor Road and not the trade entrance at the back) \n\n\n\nEach race offers a challenging route for all trail runners. It takes in some breath-taking scenery overlooking the private estate that is normally closed to the public. \n\n\n\nOnce you have completed the run\, you will receive some awesome goodies! \n\n\n\nMinimum Ages\n\n\n\n\n5k (approx) Min age 12 years old\n\n\n\n10k (approx) Min age 16 years old\n\n\n\n\nRace Start / Finish\n\n\n\nThe Race start and finish will be a short walk to the parking area allowing to leave your valuables in your car. We will have music playing and a help desk for any last-minute questions. Please take note the parking area is on a private estate so please be respectful and stick to the runner’s area in front of the hall. \n\n\n\nRace Experience\n\n\n\nWe are keen to ensure that everyone\, regardless of their ability enjoys the day. We aim to have 1 water station halfway around the 10k route and by the start and finish area for all runners. Please can we encourage you to bring a suitable bottle to run with. At the finish line we will give you your medal and let you enjoy the festival in the stunning surroundings. We don’t advertise the route due to this being on private land\, we need to respect the landowners’ wishes.

SUMMARY:Hampshire Hilly Hundred Sportive
DESCRIPTION:A challenging\, hilly route through the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Starting and finishing at Sparsholt College in Winchester\, the 2024 edition is one of the hardest sportives on our calendar and will combine the most challenging climbs that Hampshire has to offer. From Beacon Hill\, Watership Down\, and Windmill Hill to name a few there will be plenty of hills putting meaning behind the name! You’ll be treated to beautiful woodland\, stunning countryside\, quaint villages\, and of course\, amazing views from the tops of the climbs. But with those ups\, must comedowns! With over 4\,000ft of climb on the 100-mile course\, there is the same amount of descent for you to enjoy! \nWith a fully signed and marshaled course with feed stations along the route supporting you all the way\, there’s no reason why you should wait in ticking off one of the best sportives. Full mechanical support is available on the route and a medal\, drinks\, snacks\, and chipped timing await those who finish.
