DESCRIPTION:The Welshpool 10k brings together an active community of people taking part in sporting events for reasons ranging from fitness\, competition\, charity\, health\, fun or to simply finish. \nThe participants vary from nervous first-timers of all ages through to competitive runners. \n  \n\n\n\nRACE HQ START / FINISH\n\n\n42 Broad Street\, Welshpool\,Powys\, SY21 7JQ\n\n\nThe event HQ & start/finish are a short walk from several car parks in the town centre. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRACE DAY SCHEDULE\n\n\n\nArrive in Welshpool: 8:00 am\nWarm Up: 8:40 am\nRace Start: 9:00 am\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\n\n\n\nTravelling from Newtown\, Aberystwyth and South Wales park in the public car park Berriew Rd\, Welshpool\, SY21 7SS – Please note you won’t have access to this car park after 845am.\nTravelling from Chester\, Wrexham\, Oswestry\, Shrewsbury park in the public car park Welshpool SY21 7DD\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT WELSHPOOL 10K\n\n\n\n\nPerfect for all 10K runners\, from nervous first-timers to experienced runners. An undulating and challenging one-lap race that starts and finishes in the Town Centre on fully closed roads. The Route is a very fast start and finish and takes in the breathtaking Powis Castle. Once you have completed the run\, you will receive your own finisher’s medal!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Start / Finish\n\n\nThe Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last-minute issues. The race village is just a short walk from the local park\, car parks\, retail shops\, cafes and eateries. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Experience\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are keen to ensure that everyone\, regardless of their ability\, enjoys the day. Our generous race cut-off time will allow everyone to get back into High Street before we open the public roads.
