Great for those looking for that little something extra\, the course takes athletes from the waters of Llyn Mymbyr to the summit of Moel Siabod. \n\nThe Snowman Triathlon & Duathlon routes\n\n\nThe races will start from the ground of the scenic Plas y Brenin\, The National Mountain Centre. \nCompetitors will complete the swim in the waters of Llyn Mymbyr in the shadows of the awe-inspiring Snowdon. From here\, competitors will complete a series of hill climbs over Snowdonia’s mountain passes as they tackle the bike section. SUMMARY:Snowdon 24 Challenge 2021
DESCRIPTION:Come along to England and Wales Highest Peak – Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa – for the ultimate hiking challenge. Fantastic for keen hikers looking for a new conquest\, the challenge is to climb up and down Snowdon as many times as you can within 24 hours. Come along for a test of endurance like no other. \n\nSnowdon 24 Challenge route\n\n\n\nThe hiking challenge of all hiking challenges – athletes either individually or as a team must ascend and descend England and Wales highest peak as much as they can in 24 hours. \nThe course begins in Llanberis Village and will take you up the Llanberis path\, which is a 15KM out and back route. The course will take passed the famous Half Way House\, Allt Moses and Clogwyn Bridge. \nThe winner will be those who have completed as climbs as possible and there are three race categories: \nSolo Entry\nPair Relay Entry\nTeam Relay Entry \nThere will be rest areas on site. Always Aim High will be given their own shelter\, Pair Relays will be given space for one shelter between the pair (2 person tent)\, and teams will be given space to pitch a 3 person tent. \nBetween 9 PM and 8 AM\, there will be no music or noise\, while the rest area will be a silent zone for the duration of the 24 hours.

DESCRIPTION:Snowman Swim 2018\nWelcome to the Aqua Sphere Snowman Swim – featuring the Mymbyr Miler and Mymbyr Half Miler! \nFor 2018\, we’re offering you the chance to experience an incredible open water swim in the stunning Llynnau Mymbyr\, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park!  \nA full mile or half mile distance is on offer\, so come and experience this unique adventure at Plas y Brenin this Summer. \nVenue\nPlas y Brenin National Mountain Sports Centre\, Capel Curig LL24 0ET \nDate\nSaturday 4th August 2018\nSunday 5th August 2018 \nRegistration and Expo\nRegistration will be at Plas y Brenin (LL24 0ET).  \nCar Parking\nThere will be no parking available at Plas y Brenin. The race pay and display car park is approximately 250 metres along the road towards Capel Curig. \nPrizes\nCategories are decided on race turn out. \nUnder normal Circumstances both Womens and Mens prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 Open and 1st Placed Vets V40\, V50\, V60\, V70. Additional prizes may be added in events where participation numbers warrant extra recognition. \nAll prizes must be collected on the day. Under no circumstances will prizes be posted out.
