DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Arran Triathlon Clubs Festival (Island-2-Island)  \nThe new generation in triathlon events with the largest prize pot in Triathlon Scotland history over £5000+  \nYou deserve an event not just a race!!!   \nAnd we hope to give it to you\, not only is the event based at the iconic Arran Outdoor Centre your swim start will commence with a never been done before POWERBOAT RIDE TO HOLY ISLE!!!!!!!!WOW!!!!!!!  \nPower Boat will only be the Half Iron & STD Distance. \nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT \n1) LOCAL GOODY BAGS UPON REGISTRATION WHICH ARE TOTALLY UNIQUE!!!! \n2) UNIQUE TROPHIES FOR 1ST/2ND/3RD IN EACH AGE CATEGORY ALONG WITH AMAZING PRIZES FROM CASH TO BREAKS AWAY & MORE!  \n3) ALL RACES TIMED CHIPPED AND INSTANT PRINT OUTS \n4) Special Armed Forces award for the first service man/women in each event.  \nCome and join this unique oppurtunity and help to support Arran Junior Triathlon Club \n Armed forces  personnel on production of ID card and collect 15% off all food and drink on the day & night \n– Arran High School \n– Arran Mountain Rescue \n– Lamlash Community Fund And Many more local clubs …….. \nEvening entertainment onsite with BIB Bingo and local entertainment\, ready to offer you a warm Arran welcome and a race never to be forgotten. \nWe hope you enjoy our Island and the event. \nWe are limited to numbers due to the unique start\, however we have held a few places back for our charities and main sponsors – so please contact us if you wish to raise money for them. \nPlease note – The race referee may change any part of the course due to safety concerns on the day \nEvent details and schedule \nEvent Schedule: \n8-8:45am – Half Iron Distance – Registration & Transition opens \n8:15 – 9am -Half Iron Distance transport to Holy Isle \n9:15am Half Iron Distance Start (swim 1hr) \nCUT OF 7:45HRS (5PM) \n10:30-11:45am STD Distance – Registration & Transition opens \n11:00-11:50pm – STD Distance transport to Holy Isle \n12pm STD Distance Start (swim 50m) \nCUT OF 4HRS (5PM) \n12:50pm Sprint Distance – Registration & Transition opens (& Open Water event) \n2pm Sprint Distance starts. (swim 30m) \nCUT OF 2:30HR (4:30PM) \n3.8km Open water swim START 2:45pm-5pm \n3:30-4:30pm-Tri Star1/2/3 Registration \n4-4:45pm Transition opens \n4-8pm Live music starts along with local bands and singers \n(Road closed 5pm -7pm for non emergency vehicles) \n5:15pm Tri 1 Start (cut off 25min) \n5:25pm Tri 2 Start (cut off 35min) \n5:35pm Tri 3 Start (cut off 40min) \n8-9pm Awards and presentation \n9pm-11:30pm Live entertainment \n11:30-11:45pm Close \nCourse info: Swim will be a sea swim from Holy Isle if you are doing the Half or Olympic distances and from the outdoor centre if you are doing the Full/sprint or tri star races. \nBike – Transition 1 will be at the Outdoor Centre and clock wise using the islands ring road for the Full/half for all other events it will be out and back. \nRun – T2 will be at the Outdoor Centre and the run course will be a tarmac track following the sea through lamlash and back. \nArival Info: We have planned the events with Calmac Ferry service and please see times on our website. \nParking – will be onsite at the Outdoor Centre and local High School.
