Like an illustration in a romantic fairy-tale\, crowning the top of an isolated hill\, the castle turrets and towers rise above the Vale of Belvoir. Looking over the battlements from the North Terrace\, you can see for miles over the counties of Nottinghamshire\, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The name Belvoir – meaning ‘beautiful view’ in French\, is pronounced today as ‘beaver’. \n\n\n\nFans of the TV series The Crown will recognise several scenes filmed at Belvoir Castle. This Regency Castle was the perfect fit to recreate the Royals’ residence. \n\n\n\nRaces\n\n\n\nThe Belvoir Castle event will feature some truly iconic courses amidst the 3\,000 acres of naturally designed landscape and a large range of races for all ages and abilities. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re 9 or 90 years old\, a first-timer or an elite\, you can pick from our triathlon\, duathlon\, aquabike\, aquathlon\, run and swim races. \n\n\n\nGoverning Body\n\n\n\nBelvoir Castle Triathlon and Multisport Festival will be a British Triathlon permitted event. If you are taking part in a triathlon or multisport event\, you are required to provide your race licence or obtain a BTF Race Pass.

You can also race with a team of friends in one of our relay options! \n\n\n\nGOVERNING BODY\n\n\n\nThis is a British Triathlon permitted event. If you are taking part in a multisport event\, you must become a member of the sport and obtain a race licence to race. We will share the link here when it becomes available. \n\n\n\nWe’re delighted that this event has been awarded the 2024 Standard Distance Triathlon European Qualifier. Athletes MUST register their intent to qualify before 5 pm on Friday\, 21st July. \n\n\n\nThis event is also part of and qualifies for the 2023 Triathlon England Yorkshire Junior Series.
