DESCRIPTION:Cat City Marathon 2017\nAbout\nGreetings from City Jogger’s Club. We are an amateur sports club registered under the Akta Pembangunan Sukan 1997 since 2014. We have organised and co-host many successful running events in Kuching. \nOnce again\, it is the time of the year for our annual series run\, the Momentum Run. This year it will be our 4th fantastic year and it is getting better each year.  \nAs there are requests for another full marathon for Kuching\, City Jogger’s Club do not want to disappoint its members and fellow runners and is ready to take up the challenge to including a marathon distance\, the CAT CITY MARATHON as the 3rd and concluding event in our Momentum Run Series. For more information on our Momentum Run. \nThe CAT CITY MARATHON comprises of a 42KM full marathon\, 21KM half marathon\, 10KM & 5KM runs and will be held on 23 JULY 2017. Yes runners…don’t miss this opportunity\, marked your calendar! \nWe hope to make the CAT CITY MARATHON a yearly event that bring runners from many places to Kuching to enjoy its rich cultural heritage\, tranquility and uniqueness of a multicultural city.  \nCome\, have fun and experience the excitement of running in our beautiful “cat” city. Together\, let’s create the most memorable and successful marathon in Kuching. \nCategories\,Rules & Regulations: \n42KM Full marathon \nOpen Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 18 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 1999) \nJunior Veteran Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 45 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 1972) \nSenior Veteran Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 55 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 1962) \n21KM Half Marathon \nOpen Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 16 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 2001) \nVeteran Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 45 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 1972) \n10KM Race \nOpen Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 15 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 2002) \n5KM Run \nOpen Category – all male and female participants must be minimum of 7 years as of 23 July 2017 (born before 23 July 2010) \n** participants aged 12 years old and below must be accompanied by parents or guardian who is participant of 21 years old of age or older. \nTiming Chips\nThe electronic timing chip provided by the organizer must be used by all runners. \nRefunds\nNo refunds will be entertained once full payment is received. \nConfirmation registration are not transferable to other persons. \nRegistered runners are not allowed to change their categories once the registration is confirmed. \nTake Note:\nRace Bib swapping is illegal. This is especially important as emergency contacts are registered with the bib. This will also ensure that there is no cheating. If this should happen the runner will be immediately disqualified and the identity will be posted to all running events. \nThere will be cut off time for all categories. For FULL MARATHON\, runners who exceed the cut off time at 30km will be ‘swept’ back to the starting point. \n42KM Full Marathon \nTime Limit – 8 hours \nStarting Time – 12 Midnight \nClosing Time – 8:00am \n21KM Half Marathon \nTime Limit – 4.0 hours \nStarting Time – 4:30am \nClosing Time – 8:30am \n10KM Race \nTime Limit – 2 hours \nStarting Time – 6:30am \nClosing Time – 8:30am \n5KM Run \nTime Limit – 1 hour \nStarting Time – 7:00am \nClosing Time – 8:00am \nALL RUNNERS WILL GET THE FOLLOWINGS: \nFinisher’s medal for 5KM\, 10KM\, 21KM & 42KM. \nRunning vest for 5KM\, 10KM\, 21KM & 42KM. \nFinisher T-shirt for 21KM & 42KM. \nSpecial Runner Finisher Tee for those who completed 50KM and above (must completed 42KM Full Marathon together with 10KM or 21KM) \nFinisher e-Certificate for 5KM\, 10KM\, 21KM & 42KM. \nGoodie Bag \nRace Pack Collection:\nDates:21st & 22nd July 2017 / Friday & Saturday\nTime: 10:00am to 6:00pm\nVenue: Viva City Megamall\, Kuching.
