ÖTILLÖ is the origin of Swimrun, a new endurance sport driven by respect and dedication. Swimrun is about experiencing nature in the purest possible way, with Respect for yourself, for your team partner, for others and for the environment.

The ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series is the premium brand in Swimrun providing sustainable events of the highest quality which challenge your mental and physical endurance. We are dedicated to recreate the ÖTILLÖ experience in unique places around the world and to inspire the growth of a community that shares our values.

  • The spirit of swimrun is based on teamwork, motivation, fun and passion. We want to bring you all of these emotions, we want to challenge you and we want to give you a fantastic adventure. These are all the reasons of why we have decided to create unique races in unique places. We want to share our world with you!
  • On this site you will find the legacy of our sport and also the future of our experience. You will be challenged and you will be respected. This is where you will find all information regarding the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship, the ÖTILLÖ World Series, the ÖTILLÖ Sprints and the ÖTILLÖ Experience. You will also find everything that makes for a swimrun life; training, adventures and community.
  • As we see the sport from a sustainable angle we want to be part of conserving the nature we are in and we want to give back to those less fortunate. At every race location we work with local environmental organisations and through our donations to and our work with #Swimrunforlife we want to support those who are chasing the dream of safety over land and water. Our race formats

The ÖTILLÖ race organisation offers four different race formats. Each one to reflect your own swimrun ambition and experience. The ÖTILLÖ weekends will have a World Series race on Sundays and Sprint and Experience races on Saturdays. The World Championship weekend will only have the ÖTILLÖ Final15K Sprint on the Saturday.

  1. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – The mother of all swimrun races
  2. WORLD SERIES – These races serve as qualifiers to the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and also as the ultimate regional swimrun challenge
  3. SPRINT RACES – The word Sprint eludes to the distance compared to a WORLD SERIES race, not necessarily to the speed.
  4. EXPERIENCE RACES – The Experience races are short, fun, entry-level swimrun experiences
