SUMMARY:Triathlon England Conference 2019
DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Triathlon England Conference aim is to celebrate a fantastic 2019 for our sport and to provide our volunteers\, clubs\, officials\, athletes and event organisers with the appropriate tools and knowledge to play a key role in increasing the number of people participating in triathlon and achieving more. The conference is held over one day and consists of the Annual General Meeting\, awards\, workshops\, Q&A with Commonwealth Games double gold medallist Jodie Stimpson and the opportunity for attendees to meet Triathlon England and British Triathlon staff. \nThis year we have seen more clubs making themselves great\, a hugely successful events programme\, coaches providing athletes with the opportunity to improve and be successful and\, our inspirational volunteers playing a vital part in the development and delivery of triathlon. \nInformation on the 2019 AGM Resolutions for Triathlon England can be found in the link below: \n2019 AGM

SUMMARY:VeloPark East London Triathletes Childrens Duathlon
DESCRIPTION:The event takes place on the magnificent closed road circuit surrounding the 2012 Olympic velodrome in the Velopark\, Stratford. \nThe purpose built circuit is 1mile in length. The first waves (TS1\,) will start at 12:30pm. \nThe event format of run-bike-run. \nTriStar 1 (9-10 years) 600m run (1 laps\, some inclines) / 3.2km bike (2laps some inclines) / 600m run (1 lap\, some inclines). \nTriStar 2 (11-12 years) 1.2 run (2 laps\, some inclines) / 4.8km bike (3 laps some inclines) / 600m run (1 lap\, some inclines). \nTriStar 3 (13-14 years) 1.6km run (1 lap some inclines) / 8.0km bike (5 laps some inclines) / 600m run (1 lap\, some inclines). \nYouth (15-16 years) 1.6km run (1 lap some inclines) / 8.0km bike (5 laps some inclines) / 600m run (1 lap\, some inclines). \nTriStar  (8 years) 400m run (some inclines) / 800m bike (2 laps flat) / 200m run (some inclines). \nThe event is chip timed with medals for all participants.. \nThe event is open to all ability levels and is both an ideal venue for your first duathlon. \nThere are changing and showering facilities as well as cafes on site. Providing the backdrop to the event is the London Aquatic Centre (used for the 2012 Olympic swimming events)\, the 2012 athletics Stadium and the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the vast Westfield shopping centre.
