SUMMARY:The Silverman Duathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Silverman Duathlon is considered one of the unique courses for any competitor taking part in this event. \nThe first stage of the course will see the participants run 11 kilometres\, which includes navigating through Kampung Batik\, weaving their way up a challenging slope to Telok Batik and returning back to Marina Island for the bicycle transition. \nThe bicycle ride will see the participants looping the course\, including going over three bridges 4 TIMES! The final stage will return the participants back to the running course of stage one. \nCategories \nMen open (18-34)\nWomen open (18-39)\nMen junior master (35-44)\nWomen master (40 and above)\nMen senior master (45 and above) \n  \nRegistration Fees \n1st April to 30th April 2017 – Early Bird RM160 nett\nLate Bird RM200 nett\n*Fees including GST and credit card surcharge \nRace Course \nMarina Island  – Teluk Batik – Marina Island –  Segari Lumut –  Lumut –  Marina Island – Royal Malaysian – Navy Base – Marina Island \nRUNNING COURSE\n2 loops for Half Marathon runners \n1 loop for Duathletes before and after cycling \n0km – Start in-front of Marina Exhibition Hall \n2.5km – 1st water station \n4.5km – U-turn after a hut \n5.0km – 2nd water station \n7.0km – 3rd water station \n9.0km 4th water station \n9.5km – U-turn in-front of the guard house \n10.5km – Finish in-front of Marina Exhibition Hall \nCYCLING COURSE\n2 loops \n0km – Start in-front of Marina Exhibition Hall \n17.5km – U-turn after Jambatan Raja Permaisuri \n18.0km – 1st water station \n31.0km – U-turn for 1st loop only.
