DESCRIPTION:A fun and picturesque triathlon next to Lake Windermere. \nOlympic distance triathlon into its 5th year taking in the most iconic lake and scenery in Cumbria. This Triathlon event in the magnificent Lake District which includes the excitement of racing next to Lake Windermere\, with transition at Cockshott Point in Bowness\, a cycle around the shores of the lake into Ambleside and back. SUMMARY:EpicMan Windermere Triathlons
DESCRIPTION:EpicMan is the ultimate middle distance (half Iron) triathlon\, based at YMCA Lakeside\, on the shore of Lake Windermere. The 1.9km Swim takes place in the clear waters of Lake Windermere and is a single lap course. The 90km cycle takes place on undulating roads around the South Lakes and the half marathon follows the Windermere YMCA trails for a scenic Lakeside course. \nIf you’re not up for the middle distance\, we also have a standard distance course (1500m / 40k / 10k) on the same day.
