SUMMARY:Dundee Running Adventure Marathon 2017
DESCRIPTION:Dundee Running Adventure Marathon\nAbout\nA multi-terrain marathon where runners follow a route round the city of Dundee. The race is open to up to 300 runners\, and there is also a half marathon (Half DRAM). \nDundee Running Adventure Marathon Route\nThe route is a mixture of different terrains and has been described as rough and ready and unlike any other marathon in Scotland. \nThe race begins at Camperdown Park. The route then follows a clockwise course taking in the city’s popular Green Circular cycleway. Runners pass through wooded areas\, parkland and along a lengthy stretch the northern banks of the River Tay\, over a mix of differing terrains\, ending up at the finish line back at Camperdown Park. \nThe route\, although not designed traditional competitive clock-watchers will make for an adventurous day out. With relay changeover points (at 8.5 and 17 miles)\, potential traffic-crossing hotspots and testing undulations it’s unlikely you will finish with a personal best. However runners will enjoy any stops\, providing an excuse for a momentary breather and chance to admire the fantastic view.  \nDundee Running Adventure Marathon Entry\n* Entry Fee : £26.20 (first 100 applicants)\, then £29\n* Registration Deadline : When the race is full.\n* Charity Places : Runners are advised to contact their chosen charity.
