SUMMARY:The Bridge Children's Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The 7th Bridge Children’s Triathlon will take place on the 13th July 2025. Entries are now open for the 2025 Dartford Bridge Children’s Triathlon. Every year we learn a bit more and we try and improve our events.\nNew swim course for this year’s children’s race. No lap’s just one loop for each race. 50m\, 150m\, 200\, 300\, this will make the swim easier for the children. \nDue to time restrictions we are limited to only 50 in each age race wave. Boys and girls may be racing in the same wave. The children’s race is a stand alone race now. It was to hard to run it after the adult race. We need to have reopened the road by 10am so all waves will need to start on time. \nWe will be fencing off all areas this year for safety reasons. We will also be moving the Transition area down to the trees to give us more room. The Finish will also be moved 20m again to give us more room (see site plan) \nRegistration will only open at 5.30am for the children’s race. All children must be at the start area 15 minutes before their wave is due to start. Start times will be sent out the week before the race date by e-mail. They will also be posted on the web site \nIf you have any questions please feel free to ask before the day of the race. Estimated start time for each age group. This will be confirmed on 10th July. \n\nTri-Star 4 15/16 6.30 am\nTri-Star 3 13/14 7.30 am\nTri-Star 2 11/12 8.15am\nTri-Star 1 9/10 9.00am\nTri-Start 8 9.30am\n\nPlease note this will be a wet suit swim for the children’s race. We also ask that you must have swum open water before the day of the race. \n\nTri-Start age 8 Swim: 50m\, Bike: 1.5k\, 1 lap -Run: 600m -1 lap\nTri-Star 1 – 9/10 Swim: 150m\, Bike: 3k 2 laps – Run -1k -2 laps\nTri-Star 2 – 11/12 Swim: 200m\, Bike: 6k 4 laps Run: 1.5k – 3 laps\nTri-Star 3 – 13/14 Swim: 300m\, Bike: 7.5k 5 laps Run: 2k – 4 laps\nYouth 15/16 Swim: 400m \, Bike: 13k – 3k- 6 laps\n\nIf you have any questions about The Bridge Triathlon\, please get in touch info@bridgetriathlon.co.uk \nPLEASE NOTE: Swimming is forbidden in the lakes on The Bridge at any time other than for events or during authorised Open Water Swim training sessions. SUMMARY:The Bridge Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The race takes place in one of the cleanest lakes in the south off England. The bike course is all on closed roads and it ideal for anyone new to the sport of Triathlon. \n\n\n\nIn the event of us losing any part of the course we will turn the Triathlon into an alternative event. If we lose the road it will become an Aquabike. If we lose the lake it will become a Duathlon. Sorry no refund will be given as this will be out of our control. In the 10 years this has not been a problem. \n\n\n\nThere are three different distances plus a team relay to choose from: a super sprint\, sprint and standard plus a relay option for the standard distance triathlon. \n\n\n\nWe are also running an Aqua Bike race. The first wave goes off at 6.30am and then every 15 minutes \n\n\n\nEstimated start times.\n\n\n\n\nStranded distance\, Relay and Aqua bike  6.30am\,6\,45am\,7.00am\n\n\n\nSprint distance\, Relay and Aqua bike  7.00am\, 7.15am\, 7.30am\, 7.45am.\n\n\n\nGO TRI 8.00 am\n\n\n\n\nDistances\n\n\n\n\nStandard Distance swim 1500m – bike 42km – run 10km\n\n\n\nRelay swim 1500m – bike 42km – run 10km\n\n\n\nSprint Distance swim 750m – bike 24km – run 5km\n\n\n\nGO TRI Distance swim 400m – bike 14km – run 3.3km\n\n\n\nAqua Bike swim 1500 – 42k bike.\n\n\n\nAqua Bike swim 750 – 22k bike
