SUMMARY:Hever Castle Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The World’s Largest Junior Triathlon \nHever Castle Triathlon has established itself as an essential destination for British and international triathletes and the mainstream media\, for its picture postcard venue\, elite action\, age-group choice and festival atmosphere. Put simply\, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. \nSibling bonding\, friendship and sporting camaraderie are the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continues the Brownlee spirit\, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue. \nAs in previous years\, the children’s races are split over two days (8-10 year olds on Saturday afternoon and 11-15 year olds on Sunday afternoon). \nThe races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden\, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent\, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races. DESCRIPTION:Festival of Endurance UK\nWe are pleased to announce that the Festival of Endurance will return on Sunday 8th July 2018. \nDue to popular demand the Gauntlet half iron distance triathlon is returning with athletes racing alongside the full iron distance or Bastion competitors around much the same course. Only race kit to be used can be left in that race area. All boxes and bags should be moved to the bag drop.  This area is only accessible to competitors but the organisers do not accept responsibility for the security or the safety of these items so please don’t leave valuables in them. \nAre you ready for the ultimate challenge of the triathlon season?
