DESCRIPTION:Half Marathon Swim 2019\nRegistration period:  Open: Mar 4\, 2019  Closed:  Apr 4. 2019  or upon reaching the limit(whichever comes first). \nRace date:   21th Apr\, Sunday \nRace Events:\n380M  – Sea Angels   – Start/End at Kelab Tasik\n5000m*  – One way swim from Komplek Sukan Air to Kelab Tasik \n*Merit distance is a distance which top 10 swimmers male & female for each group age will attain points and ranked into MOWS swimmers ranking. \nParticipant’s Entitlement: Swimming Cap (re-using encouraged)\, Finisher Medal\, MOWS winner’s Medal & Trophies\, post-race light meal\,  Event E-cert \n \nQualification: a minimum of 1 time OWS experiences for the past 12 months. Any triathlon\,Ironman\, swimathon events\, or monthly Swimon workshop/trainings can be counted.  Contact race director for further query or justification.  Click here to check  swimon OWS training schedule in Dec and coming January. \nRegistration and award ceremony to be taken place at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya (finishing).  A transport is provided FOC from Kelab Tasik to the starting area (Komplek Sukan Air  – KOSA)\, one way. \nIn-water start/finish:  This event features in-water start and in-water finish. \nCut off  :   3 hr ( 5km) and 15 min ( 380m Sea Angel) \nSafety: The course is patrolled by safety crafts and life guards. Participants should be adequately trained for open water swims of this length. All swimmers must wear the provided swim cap. Wearing safety buoy is mandatory.   Swimming safety buoy could be rented or purchased at the site. \nAwards (MOWS winners medal – Gold\, Silver\, Bronze) & Trophies:   \n380m kids.  1st\,2nd\,3rd every age group male and female.   Overall 1st Male and Female\n5000m.  1st\,2nd\,3rd every age group male and female.
