SUMMARY:Lisbon Eco Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Lisbon Eco Marathon is the only Marathon with its entire course within the city of Lisbon.\nIt positions the Portuguese capital in the calendar of this type of renown races around the world. \nEcology\, Competition and Social Solidarity are the main assumptions of this event. \nIn addition to the “mythical” distance of 42\,195 km\, you may choose running two additional distances\, the Half Marathon and a 12 km race\, thus opening the challenge to all kind of athletes. \nConviviality and good disposition are our main slogans. \nMost of the course is held in the “lungs of the city” – Parque Florestal de Monsanto (Monsanto Forest Park)\, in a way that minimizes the annoyances for the resident population\, due to the reduced need for roadblocks\, and at the same time makes it an event with one of the most iconic courses for the practitioners of this sport. \nIn order to make this event a unique experience\, we gathered the practice of this sport in a party atmosphere in the center of the city. \nThe start line coincides with the departure and arrival of the three distances\, to welcome athletes and their families in a comfortable and fun way. \nAnd it takes place in an iconic boulevard of our charming city – the top of Parque Eduardo VII\, next to the National flag\, which has a privileged view of Lisbon’s main arteries\, river and castle.

DESCRIPTION:Lisbon Eco Marathon is organised by Stream Plan\, LDA. in cooperation with Clube Desportivo e Recreativo Chronos. \nREGISTRATIONS: \nRegistrations are made exclusively through the race’s official site: www.ecomaratonadelisboa.pt \nDATE/TIME \nThe Lisbon Eco Marathon will take place on Sunday 10th May 2020. \nThe start and finish will be located at Alameda Cardeal Cerejeira\, Parque Eduardo VII. \nThe Marathon (42.195 km) starts at 8:30 a.m. \nThe Half Marathon (21.1 Km) starts at 9:30 a.m. \nThe Mini Marathon (12 Km) starts at 10 a.m. \nThe Caminhada ReWalk (approx. 3.5 Km) starts at 10:15 a.m. \n  \n\nSUPLLY STATIONS\n\n  \nThe use of non-reusable packages is strictly forbidden. \nAny participant who chucks any packaging or any other product onto the ground shall be immediately disqualified. \nThe organisation will have the following drinks stations. \n  \nMarathon (42 Km): \nKm 4 (DS-1) . Km 10 (DS-2) . Km 12 (DS-3) . Km 16 (DS-4) . Km 19 (DS-5) . Km 23 (DS-6) . Km 28 (DS-7) Km 30 (DS-8) . Km 36 (DS-9) . Km 42 (Finish). \n  \nHalf Marathon (21 km): \nKm 5 (DS-4) . Km 8 (DS-5) . Km 10 (DS-8) . Km 16 (DS-9) . Km 21 (Finish). \n  \nMini Marathon (12 Km): \nKm 4 (DS-1) . Km 6 (DS-9) . Km 12 (Finish). \n  \nCaminhada ReWalk (aprox. 3.5 km): \nFruit and fluids will be made available at the Finish of the Caminhada ReWalk. \nPARTICIPATION KIT: \n  \nMARATHON\, HALF MARATHON AND MINI MARATHON \n  \nIncludes: \nThe standard participation kit for the athlete will have a technical race t-shirt and a bib made of “tyvek” paper in A4 format\, on which will be the chip placement instructions\, and from which the baggage tag must be removed\, as well as the chip itself. \nThese are the sizes available for the technical t-shirt: XS\, S\, M\, L and XL. Sizes will be allocated according to the requests made at registration. \nParticipation kits will be picked up on 9th May\, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\, on a marquee that will be appropriately identified\, by the National Flag at Alameda Cardeal Cerejeira (Top of Parque Eduardo VII). No kits will be handed at any other dates. \nCAMINHADA REWALK \nIncludes: \nThe standard participation kit includes a tshirt\, and will have a bracelet that gives access to the cloakroom\, and supply station at the end. \nSizes available: XS\, S\, M\, L and XL. \nSizes will be allocated according to the requests made at registration. \nPRIZES \nAll participants in the competitive races\, who conclude them\, will receive an exclusive event medal and they may download their participation diploma in the race’s official website. \nThe first 3 male and female finishers of each race will receive prizes during an official ceremony\, as well as the Bigger Group (Clubs and Companies). \nThe prizes will be handed during the official prize giving ceremony.
