DESCRIPTION:GENERAL INFORMATION\n\n\nIn the unique surroundings of the Lofoten Islands we are offering you the opportunity to do an amazing race – Lofoten Triathlon. The race is set every year in week 33. Lofoten Triathlon will take place 16th till 17th of August 2019\, in the town of Svolvær. \nCLICK HERE FOR NORWEGIAN TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM AND INFO.\nFriday 16th of August: \nEXTREME: 4 km swim in the harbor of Svolvær\, 196 km bike ride around Vestvågøy\, Gimsøy and a short visit to iconic Henningsvær before you return to Svolvær. To finish it all with a bang – 45 km run that ends with 18 km terrain and two mountains. \nKIDS TRIATHLON: short and fun for the kids (3-12 years) \nSaturday 17th of August: \nOLYMPIC +: 1000 M swim in the Svolvær harbor\, 50 KM bike back and forth to Henningsvær and 12 KM run that goes over the mountain peak of Tjeldbergtinden (367 mas). \nRegistration is open. \nDO THE WHOLE TRIPLE?\n\nMany are eager to do all three races – to get an official result you have to complete them all in 12 months. \n\nGOLD – Lofoten Skimo 4000+\, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 100 Miles and Lofoten Triathlon Extreme\nSILVER – Lofoten Skimo 4000+\, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 50 Miles and Lofoten Triathlon Extreme\nBRONZE – Lofoten Skimo 1000+\, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 24KM and Lofoten Triathlon Olympic+\n\nAll races in The Arctic Triple are fully supported and marked – external support only allowed in some points\, see race manual. \n\nPROGRAM\n\n\nMore info: https://www.thearctictriple.no/lofoten-triathlon/
