DESCRIPTION:5k Fun Run Event\nGLOW IN THE PARK IS THE ULTIMATE NIGHTTIME NEON EVENT A 5K FUN RUN FOR FAMILIES & FRIENDS. DANCE\, WALK\, JOG AND RUN ON AN EPIC VOYAGE THROUGH OUR 6 GLOW ZONES. \nElectrifying light shows and energizing beats will carry you around the course as you get your glow on in the Foam Zone\, powder up in the UV Paint Blast Zone and get grooving in the Time Tunnel. Open to all abilities\, young or old – whether you dance / walk / jog or run – Glow in the Park is your time to shine. \n \nGlow in the Park is a fun\, nighttime 5km that takes place in the dark. Glow zones are situated about the course with music and light shows. Take your time\, enjoy the show\, run\, walk\, jog or dance your way around the course. You must wear a head torch when taking part in this event.  \nSTART PARTY\nDJ and Disco light’s on the start line to get the party going. \nTIME TUNNEL\nLet the spiraling colorful lights draw you in and transport you back in time! \nHOT ZONE\nWatch out. Blasts of smoke followed by jets of red hot flames. \nFOAM ZONE\nGet covered in foamy fun in the foam tent. \nPAINT BLAST ZONE\nArcs of UV paint fire across this zone. Be quick here or you might get covered in paint! Don’t wear your best kit for this one. It’s going to get messy! \nRETRO ZONE\nSpaced around the course the retro zones include laser shows\, old school disco lighting\, music and special effects \nDetails \nEVENT DAY SCHEDULE:\n7:00 pm – Start Party\, warm up and DJ will get you Glowing!\n7:30 pm – Start \nREGISTERING YOUR BIB NUMBER:\nAll participants need to register their bib number before the event. You can do this by scanning the QR code on the bib or by following the below link. Register your bib number: https://votwo.typeform.com/to/jNJBbz \nCAR PARKING:\nThe on-site car park will be open from 6:00 pm and there is a charge of £4 per car and £7 per bus. Please have the exact change ready and follow the directions of the car parking marshals. Wear your headtorch whilst on foot in the car park as some areas are unlit \nWHAT DOES AN ENTRY INCLUDE?\nPre Event Pack:\nEvent bib number. You need to scan the QR code on the front of the bib to register. Your bib number is proof of entry to the event and must be displayed in a prominent position about your person in order to participate on the night\nEvent information sheet\nx4 safety pins\n(Posted via Royal Mail 2nd class before the event date) \nCollected at the event:\nGlow in the Park Headband\, collection on arrival\nNew for 2018\, Glow in the Park Medals!!!!! \nCOURSE\nThe course is 2 laps of a 2.5km circuit and is marked by flashing arrows and marshals. You will pass through our glow zones as you dance\, jog\, run or walk your way around the course. Don’t forget its night time so the majority of the course will be dark\, you must wear a head torch and look where you are going! The course is on paths\, tracks\, and some grass areas. \nFACILITIES:\nOn-site catering vendors selling hot drinks and food\nFree Glow in the Park Headbands for all entrants (in your packs)\nToilets at the start/finish area\nFree water station\nMedics located at the start/finish area and the halfway point\nEvent merchandise for sale \nSPECTATORS\nThe more the merrier! You will be able to enter the site from the main entrance. Do not go on to the course itself and please stay behind the crowd barrier. There is plenty of hot food and drink outlets in the start finish area for your refreshment! \nGLOW SHOP:\nFeel you need to stand out and Glow more than the next person? Then visit our Glow Shop online or at the event and stock up! \nENTERING AS A GROUP:\nEntering as a group is cheaper and more fun! You will need 4 or more people to enter as a group. Shine brighter together!!! Choose the number of Glow Runners you have in your group from the drop-down menu.  \nCHILD TICKETS:\nChild tickets are for children aged 6 – 14yrs only. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
