SUMMARY:Thames Path 100
DESCRIPTION:The TP100 is a 100-mile continuous trail race along the Thames Path from London to Oxford. Total Climb: 1900 feet. 15th Annual.\nThe 100-mile course is a marked point-to-point race which takes runners from Richmond in South West London to the centre of Oxford. The course follows the meandering route of the Thames against its flow and is flat and fast\, with the majority on groomed paths/ trails and paved pathways. There are some truly stunning sections of the route showing off the best of English riverside scenery and life on the Thames. Held under an official UKA Permit granted through the Trail Running Association (Permit Number Pending). \n\nGeneral Info\n\n\nEntries\nEntries for the 2026 Event open on Saturday May 24th 2024 at 1000. Runners must meet the minimum qualification standard below\, to apply. Volunteers from 2025 get priority free entry prior to general entries going on sale. \nThe Entry fee is £220 (£222 unaffiliated runners). \nRunners may also enter the TP100 as part of the 100 mile Grand Slam. No waiting list will be held for this event and no entries will be taken on the day. \nQualification Standard\nIn order to enter you must have completed a minimum of a 50 mile distance race within 15hrs\, between 1st January 2020 and race day. The race starts on Richmond New Waterfront\, adjacent to the river and just a one minute walk from the Hall. \nThe finish location is Queen’s College Sports Ground just a few hundred yards from the city centre. Runners will turn left off of the Thames Path just before the Head of the River Pub which looms over the Thames Path from Oxford City Centre\, and turn directly in to the finishing chute in front of the pavilion. We are very privileged to be allowed to finish in the grounds of Oxford University. \nRoute\nThe 2026 race route remains on the Thames Path from the outset until the finish line with one minor deviation to Clifton Hampden aid station on route which will be clearly marked on race day. Diversions in place in 2025 due to structural issues with bridges\, weirs and the paths will all be assessed and factored in for 2026 nearer the time. We are hopeful that they will not add much if anything extra to the 2026 route. \nA map of the route can be found at the bottom of this page. \nCut Offs\nRunners must finish within a 30 hour time limit. There are cut offs at every aid station on route\, designed with the purpose of keeping runners on course to finish within that 30 hour limit. \nAwards\n100 mile Centurion Buckle to all finishers. SUMMARY:TrailFest | Salcey Forest
DESCRIPTION:What is TrailFest?\n\n\n\nIt’s a day of moving around wonderful woodland for all abilities\, speeds and experiences. Whether you’re an experienced ultra runner keen to get an early-season 50 km in or a newbie trail runner looking to do their first 10K\, TrailFest is for you! \nWe’ve four distances for you to choose from: 10K\, half marathon\, marathon\, and 50 km. A distance to suit everyone! \nThe idea of the day is to bring everyone together and to experience the fun of trail running in an amazing forest. Being around others doing what seems impossible can often make it seem a lot more possible too!! If you want to come and run your personal best or bimble about with your mates\, we’ve got the perfect distance for you. \nWe’ve got very generous cut-off times too\, to try and remove some of those barriers to new people trying out the sport. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere is it?\nSalcey Forest is a Forestry England site with a café and toilets near Northampton. Use postcode NN7 2HX for your Sat Nav. It is located here on What3Words. \nYou do have to pay to park (between £3.80 – £9 at the time of writing).  That said\, be a hero and car share\, save money and the world! \nThe number 33 bus stops inside Salcey Forest (just after 9 am) and goes between Northampton and Milton Keynes (check for Sunday times) \nIt is 18 minutes from Northampton and 9 minutes from Junction 15 of the M1. The closest train station is Northampton. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I run with my dog?\nNot at these events. As the event is run under a UK Athletics/ Trail Running Association license\, there are no dogs allowed at any of the events. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse description\nThe different routes all use similar sections of the forest. The majority of the routes are along well-maintained pathways. There isn’t a meter of asphalt (except 2 road crossings for the longer events!\,) and the pathways are mainly crushed stone or very well trodden open forest floor. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat does it cost?\nWe operate a tiered pricing approach. The earlier you enter\, the cheaper the event\, but never ever will you pay a booking fee! \n\n\n\n10K\nHalf Marathon\nMarathon\n50K\n\n\n\nBefore 28/06/2026 | £20 \n\n\nBefore 28/06/2026 | £35 \n\n\nBefore 28/06/2026 | £51 \n\n\nBefore 28/06/2026 | £62 \n\n\n\nAfter 28/06/2026 | £25\nAfter 28/06/2026 | £40\nAfter 28/06/2026 | £56\nAfter 28/06/2026 | £72\n\n\n\nUnaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra. Why not join your local running club or sign up for the Big Bear Brigade and save 10% off entries forever! If you were on our Very Important Bear mailing list\, you could have also saved 20% before the event was launched! \n\nCan I run as many laps as I want?\nNot at this event. This may seem an odd question to answer but given the majority of our events are 6 hour lapped events it’s one I’m sure people will have! \n  \nWhat are the timings for each event?\n\n\n\nEvent\nRegistration Open\nEvent Start\n\n\n50 km\n07:00\n08:00\n\n\nMarathon\n07:00\n08:30\n\n\nHalf Marathon\n08:00\n09:00\n\n\n10 km\n08:00\n09:00\n\n\n\n\nCan I have crew or pacers?\nYes and no. You can have crew\, they’re really helpful for longer events\, but you cannot have pacers. To be clear\, that means no-one can run with you or walk alongside you for any period of time except in the final 100m or so. \n\nAre there cut-offs?\nYes\, but they’re pretty generous! The cutoff for the event is 19:00. For the 50 km event\, this means an 11-hour cutoff\, or a 21-minute/mile pace. All other events have the same 19:00 cutoff – so that’s 10 hours to complete the 10k! \n\n\n\n\nI’ve heard you do cupless events?\nThat’s right! Discover how we host cupless events here. For clarity\, that means there are zero cups at the aid stations. If you want liquid\, you need to bring a cup! \n\nIs there a mandatory kit?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is different for different distances and strictly enforced for each piece of mandatory kit missing 1 hour will be added to your finish time. For 10k entrants there is no mandatory kit although a cup/bottle for water is strongly recommended. There are NO CUPS at this event. If you don’t carry a cup you cannot drink water! \nHalf marathon/Marathon/50k entrants a cup/bottle capable of holding 200ml minimum is mandatory. It’ is strongly advised to carry a foil blanket and a charged mobile phone. \nThese are mandatory minimum’s if you want to carry more or extra kit then please do so\, this is to make you safe not to make you run to your best ability. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I need to withdraw?\nIt happens. Injuries\, life events… forgetting you’ve booked it! You can see our specific withdrawal policy for the TrailFest events here. They are a little different to our other events but still much better than most other events companies. I think they are fairer than most and as such they will be adhered to. \n\nSummary Details:\n\nSunday\, June 28\, 2026\n8:00 AM  7:00 PM\nSalcey Forest\, NN7 2HXUnited Kingdom\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nTrailFest Salcey Forest – Marathon FINAL \n\n\n\n \n\n\nTrailFest – Salcey Forest 50K FINAL \n\n\n\n \n\nTrailFest – Salcey – HM \n\n\n\n \n\nTrailFest – Salcey Forest – 10K FINAL

The course mixes some of the most enjoyable trail running to be found anywhere\, with wide\, soft trails\, smooth descents\, and runnable climbs. These sections are contrasted with some much steeper ascents and descents scattered throughout the loop. Runners will work hard for a finish at this race\, which will also act as the fourth and final event in the 50 Mile Grand Slam. \n \n\nGeneral Info\n\n\nEntries\nEntries for 2026 will open at 1000 on Saturday\, 6th December 2025. Please note that nothing must be handed to or received from runners out on course or in the field\, which is deemed as crewing. \nMedical\nThere will be a dedicated team of race medics available throughout the race\, including a static first aid team at the start/ finish check point and a roving team within the Woods. If you suffer an injury or accident that warrants direct medical attention\, the medics will be on hand to provide you with exactly that. Contact numbers and full details of what to do in an emergency will be given to you in the pre-race information packs and again at race registration. Due to the nature of the course\, ie\, some remote and far from roads\, the medics may take some time to reach you\, or potentially be out of contact tending to other runners. In those instances\, you should contact the emergency services on 999 AS WELL AS the race medics. Full instructions on what to do in an emergency can be found in the infopacks. \nKit\n99% of the course is on trail\, therefore\, trail shoes are advised\, particularly given the time of year. There are sections of trail which can become very muddy in wet conditions. The course takes a number of steep ascents and descents\, many of which will become hard going in wet conditions\, particularly as the race progresses. These sections must be negotiated carefully in both the dry and the wet. Given the time of year\, the threat of exposure is very real. Runners must carry the following mandatory equipment at all times. \nThere are many options regarding kits for fulfilling these requirements and those of other events. We stock what we believe to be the best options at our online store available by clicking here. Please ask us if you have any questions. \n\nFully Charged Mobile Phone\, including the numbers for the Race Medic and Race Director (on the number you have given at registration)\nSurvival Blanket: 1.4m x 2m minimum\nWhistle\nWaterproof Jacket: Gore-Tex or similar\, minimum 10000mm+ & must have sealed seams.\nWarm Hat – Beanie Hat or Buff (either is accepted)\nGloves\nLong-sleeved base layer or fleece top – This must be carried separately from the start and kept dry\, for use only in an emergency.
