USA Triathlon will sanction this race. To complete the online registration process, athletes will need to enter their USAT annual license number or athletes can purchase a one-day license ($15.00 USD) or annual license ($50.00 USD) during online registration. Athletes must bring their photo identification and show proof of current USAT membership during athlete check in. Otherwise, it will be required to purchase a one day license on-site. 1. Do I need to qualify, validate or confirm my entry by completing another event?
No, competitors do not need to qualify or validate to enter this race. However, we do suggest competing in a shorter distance triathlon event before race day.
2. What categories are offered?
Professional, Age Group, and Physically Challenged Open Division.
3. How do I determine whether I should race as an age-grouper or a professional?
Professionals must hold a valid professional/elite card or a letter from their country’s federation. For more information on IRONMAN pro membership, please log onto www.ironmanpromembership.com. You must declare your status to race in that division. Otherwise you will be in the Age Group category determined by your birth date.
4. Will there be relay teams available?
No, the relay/team option will not be available at this race.
5. What are the age requirements?
All athletes must be a minimum of 18 years of age as of race day for the event year to compete in this event.
6. What age group will I race in on race day?
All qualifying events will implement both the International Triathlon Federation and USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule: All age group athletes must complete in their age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31st of the year of the event.

Athletes are required to check-in at the venue during the dates and times listed on the Event Schedule. Athlete Check-In will not be available outside the posted times. Should an athlete have a legitimate, verifiable emergency that prevents them from picking up their materials, IRONMAN will try to accommodate the athlete to the best of our ability as long as the athlete informs IRONMAN.
