Iron Girl, a women’s only event series that is supported by title sponsor Athleta, has grown from two to 15 events in just six years. Re-launched by WTC in 2009, IronKids is a triathlon series for youth ages 6 to 15 years that hosted nine U.S. events in its inaugural year. The brand is expanding both domestically and internationally this year, with over 30 U.S. races and licensed events throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific. 5150 is WTC’s newest event series. Their first event is set to take place this year on March 20, 2011. 5150 has over 20 events on its calendar throughout the U.S. and Europe. World Endurance Africa Holdings forms part of World Triathlon Corporation and is responsible for staging africa’s only IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in Port Elizabeth and East London respectively.
